About Storelocal Oakland
Storelocal Oakland is a state-of-the-art, 4 story, self-storage facility. The facility is secured by the Noke Smart Entry system. The gate, access doors, elevators and individual storage unit doors are all outfitted with Bluetooth locks which are accessible via your mobile device. There is no lock for thieves to break which adds a layer of protection to each unit and our security cameras are recording 24/7 to give you peace of mind. We offer online rentals and payments for a contact free experience, but we do have on-site managers for those that prefer an in-person interaction. With premium or economy units ranging from sizes 5x5 to 10x30, including outdoor drive-up units and climate controlled units, we have a unit for every budget

I have had my account since February/March 2022 every time I get ready to make payment there is a constant problem. Amber is very rude. Additionally, I have asked for management details to log my complaints. I am supposed to get an email receipt and invoice. Received none for this month and still have no idea what to pay. Upon notifying Amber her response was âWe sent itâ. Then once I added that I did not have it there was silence. Also my unit is broken. I cannot lock it electronically. Upon notification to Store Manager in April there was no resolution. My unit is still broken. So now I will be looking to corporate for a way to make payment. Store Managerâs customer service is very unhelpful. I need invoices and receipts to make payments and get reimbursed. I shouldnât have to beg for the basic information provided to do business. I will be advising the better business bureau of my experience. I agree with the previous dissatisfied customer.

I am so far happy with the customer service and pricing at this new facility. It uses bluetooth for entry onto the premises, elevators, and storage. I hope it's prices remain affordable.

Great experience. Chavone was excellent. Brand new facility. One way they can improve is to make sure people arenât locked in after 6pm. Otherwise, great place.

I had a great experience first over the phone with Shavon (apologies if I misspelled). She explained everything very clearly to me and reminded me to have my phone charged when I came to make sure I could use their really cool app for my storage unit. Then when I arrived I received additional great customer service with Amber. Again she walked me through the whole process very clearly explaining the contract, facility hours, and how to operate everything. This place feels great and looks great! thank you ladies for a great experience :)

Two days into the lease. No issues or complaints. The front desk folks were helpful and friendly during office hours. Easy layout for quick storage. Just wish access hours were a bit longer in the evenings.

The facility is new, but there are lots of issues that still need to worked out. The first problem is the service. The person who runs the front desk, Jana, is as unhelpful as they come. She never told me that if I entered the facility (through automatic gates) at 5:55, my car would be locked behind the gates until morning. I got stuck out there and had to return to get my car the next morning. There was no help. No way of overriding the system that locked down the whole facility at 6pm. My husband who has his own unit has had problems too. There are better storage spaces. Iâm going to have to move again, as much as I donât want to have to. Itâs too risky to keep my stuff there and not fun to deal with such poor service.
